Community Guidelines

Last updated: March 13, 2026

StriveTribes is a community for runners, walkers, and hikers. These guidelines help keep StriveTribes a positive, supportive, and safe place for everyone.

Be Respectful

  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of ability level
  • Celebrate others' achievements — every step counts
  • Provide constructive encouragement, not criticism
  • Respect differences in culture, identity, and background

Keep It Safe

  • Do not share others' personal information (real name, location, contact details) without consent
  • Be mindful when sharing routes — consider using privacy zones to hide your home or workplace
  • Do not organize activities that are reckless or dangerous

No Objectionable Content

The following content is prohibited and will be removed:

  • Hate speech — slurs, discrimination, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Harassment & bullying — threats, intimidation, targeted insults, or sustained unwanted contact
  • Violence — threats of violence, glorification of violence, or graphic violent content
  • Sexual content — nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexual solicitation
  • Spam — repetitive content, commercial solicitation, or link spam
  • Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or organization
  • Cheating — falsifying activity data, GPS spoofing, or manipulating leaderboards
